This is my modest workbench where i do all my model work, rigged up a box with an extractor fan for getting the thinner fumes etc. out of my bedroom so as I don't pass out and this seems to have worked so far, converted some old CD racks and CD cases into handy sliding shelves and I hook up an extra monitor to my laptop just for handiness when looking at reference pics etc.
And here's the Photo booth I made up following instructions I found from Alex Kustov's excellent site in the tutorial section http://italianhorses.net/Tutorials/Photo%20Booth/photobooth.htm really some excellent tutorials from a top class modeller, worth a look for beginners like me and experienced modellers alike.
Most of the pics from here on will be taken in here using my trusty Nikon D40 so hopefully the quality will be good enough for the job.
Just waiting on some bits and pieces I ordered from http://www.marksmodels.com/ which is in a courier van en route here as I speak, then ill be able to get started. Ill be taking reference from lots of different places for the build, including other blogs and forums with pics of the real deal and completed models too.
